What is CASACOR?

To understand what CASACOR is, it is necessary to go beyond imagination, as it is the largest exhibition of interior design, landscaping and architecture in the Americas, and is also recognized as the most complete. The event takes place between four international franchises and 18 national squares.

Among the Brazilian states hosting the event are:

  • Rio de Janeiro;
  • Sao Paulo;
  • Rio Grande do Sul;
  • Paraíba;
  • Goiás.

In addition, cities such as Ribeirão Preto, Brasília and Itapema are also honored by the exhibitions, so that practically all parts of the country are contemplated with the renowned designs, architects and landscapers who attend the event.

History of CASACOR

The first CASACOR took place in 1987, in São Paulo, with more than 6,000 people attending the exhibition, which lasted 20 days. The aim was to hold a worthwhile social and cultural event, and part of the proceeds went to Associação Obra do Berço.

In the second year of the fair, the repercussion was such that several professionals in the area were unable to participate. In 1988, the number of visitors jumped to more than 16 thousand people, with the debut of renowned professionals.

After 10 years of the first edition, CASACOR received more than 100 thousand visitors and had 86 architects and decorators, totaling 67 environments designed by landscapers. Published at the Jockey Club in the city of São Paulo, it was the year in which franchises were opened in Sweden and Panama.

Then, after another decade and following the tradition of annual editions, CASACOR number 31 focused on the Essential, in 69 environments signed by 103 professionals.

In that edition, the public continued to surpass the mark of 100 thousand people, with a record in relation to sustainability. 96% of all waste from the show was reused or recycled, which drastically reduced the environmental impact that production had.

In 2020, the objective was to find a balance between technology and history, which is why professionals sought to create a reflection on the contemporary world with an appreciation of history. The theme was: The Original House.

Plantar Ideias in the most complete architecture exhibition event

In the 2018 edition, the Plant Ideas signed the environment called Paisagens de Luz, with 467 m². The space was composed of a prefabricated garden, an easy and dynamic solution, as well as having pieces launched by renowned architects and designers.

The whole idea was inspired by the 32nd edition, uniting nature with architecture, which took place in 81 environments.

In other years, Plantar Ideias was also present at the CASACOR exhibition with the following projects:

  • Miragem Casa Cor, São Paulo, 2017;
  • VarandAr, São Paulo, 2019;
  • PORTODOSNOS, Rio de Janeiro, 2019;
  • JANELAS CASACOR, Galeria Urbana Jardim Colombo, 2020.

In all editions in which Plantar Ideias participated, innovative ideas were applied within the main theme of the show, with projects and professionals at the height of the typical grandeur of the largest architecture, landscaping and interior design show in the Americas.

In the 2022 edition, CASACOR completes 35 years and presents the theme: Infinite Particular. In this commemorative edition, Plantar Ideias continues to honor the event and participates with the same dedication and enthusiasm as in other years to be part of the history of yet another CASACOR exhibition.

After so many years, the event still covers trends, innovations, inspirations and various signatures of new and experienced professionals, with more and more visitors and new spaces conquered.
